More than
a workout
OCP started on the grass at a neighbourhood park, not in a studio. Everything on this page is the part that never changed — the classes, dinners, book stacks and plane tickets that turn a room full of reformers into a room full of people who know each other.
01 Outdoors
Pilates in the Park.

Mat classes on the grass, open to anyone who turns up. It is the format Oak Cliff Pilates began with in 2016, when Amanda taught free classes at Kidd Springs Park for whoever wanted to come, and it is still the easiest way to try us without setting foot in a studio.
We have moved on from Kidd Springs, but not from the idea — these are the parks you will find us in now.
No reformer, no membership, no experience needed. Bring a mat and a bottle of water.

03 Class, then a table
Pilates & Brunch.
A class, then brunch with the people who were on the reformer next to you — hosted with the restaurants in our own neighbourhoods.
We have always worked the same way with the businesses around us: buy from them, build with them, send people their way. These mornings are that idea with a menu attached.

Off the reformer
Nights & socials.
Four recurring formats. Some are classes, some are just a table and good company.
A few times a year
Gentlemen’s Night
We hand the reformers to the men — a class with Zak, Oliver or Pepe, specialty cocktails, and a proper hang afterwards. Bring the one in your life who still says Pilates isn’t for him.
Monthly · Fridays
Community Happy Hour
Caitlin takes a group of members and friends to a neighbourhood bar or restaurant for drinks, snacks and introductions. We’re working our way through every good place near the studios.
Monthly · Uptown
Book Club
There’s a book nook at the Uptown studio, run by Amanda Lauro of Forbidden Books. One book a month, snacks, wine, and an actual conversation. Our newest community, and growing.
Monthly
Athena
For women in perimenopause or menopause — and for anyone with someone in their life going through it. Monthly events pairing real education with real company.
